After moving into SoFi Stadium and officially feeling at home in the City of Angels, the Los Angeles Rams pulled out all the stops to build a legitimate title contender for head coach Sean McVay.
The team already had a generational talent on the defensive side of the football in the form of Aaron Donald to lead the charge, but he needed more talent around him and an influx of talent on offense.
General manager Les Snead and company were able to do that with the addition of Matthew Stafford, Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller to go along with Cooper Kupp and Jalen Ramsey.
Fortunately, the Rams went on to win the Super Bowl with an absolutely stacked team that was in win-now mode and didn’t care about the long-term future regarding draft picks.
ESPN’s Marc Spears makes the case that all the moves made to sacrifice the team’s future were the right ones now that the team has a Vince Lombardi Trophy.
.@mspears96 still loves the Rams' move for a Super Bowl even if they may be paying for it🏆
"The price is a Super Bowl. I played 9 years, I wish I had one. I wish a team would've sold out … You don't think I would've love to lay in some damn confetti … like @Realrclark25?" pic.twitter.com/Pn4dZDi26v

The future in Los Angeles looks a bit bleak for the Rams due to their lack of draft capital and a roster ripped apart by trades and players leaving in NFL free agency.
Even though there’s no telling what the future will ultimately hold for McVay and company, Los Angeles going all out to win at least one title is admirable and will be the only thing that’s remembered when it is all said and done.
The door isn’t completely shut on the Rams, as they’ll have a healthy Stafford, Kupp and Donald back in the fold next season, but it remains to be seen where this team goes from here.
