The Miami Dolphins and star CB Jalen Ramsey are reportedly exploring options for a trade.
The former Super Bowl champion is no longer in his prime, but he’s still a proven commodity in this league, and he’s coming off a very productive season.
With that in mind, Marcus Spears shared his thoughts on his potential landing spot.
Talking on ESPN, Spears claimed that he would be a perfect fit for the Baltimore Ravens, as not only would he solve a positional need, but he’d also be a fit for their culture:
“Jalen Ramsey, I truly feel, still can be a championship piece,” Spears said. “One of the places we just talked about, Baltimore, they’re a team that has always welcomed veterans that have played at a high level in the secondary and the wide receiver spot, but they need help at that position. This feels like one of those Baltimore-type players that would help you on your quest to win a championship, as they’ve been so close for so long.”

Ramsey is a no-nonsense kind of veteran.
He’s going to talk a lot of smack, but he’s also going to back it up on the field.
More than that, he’s also the kind of positive leader who would most definitely look to bring the best out of any locker room he’s in.
The Dolphins’ decision to move on from Ramsey raises questions, and perhaps the veteran cornerback doesn’t like the direction the team is heading right now.
In Baltimore, he would get an opportunity to play for a perennial contender and Super Bowl-caliber team.
The Ravens have been knocking on the door of a Super Bowl for years now.
Their defense left plenty to be desired earlier last season before rallying down the stretch, and they have the personnel to be as good next season.
Even so, adding a player of Ramsey’s caliber would clearly make them even scarier, and with so many contenders in the AFC, he’d give them a big edge in the secondary.
