The Baltimore Ravens have put themselves in a bit of a tough spot.
Yes, they do hold all the leverage in the contract talks with Lamar Jackson, but having the rights to his contract doesn’t mean he’s actually going to play for them.
Jackson has made it quite clear that he wants nothing to do with the organization anymore, and it’s hard to blame him at this point.
So, even if he fails to strike a deal as a free agent somewhere else, and even if the team refuses to meet his trade request, some think he’s just never going to play for them again.
That’s the case with NFL analyst Marcus Spears, who recently went on record by stating that Jackson has already played his last snap for the Ravens organization.
"I feel like yes, [Lamar Jackson has taken his last snap with the Ravens]. I feel like Lamar Jackson is FED UP!"

Jackson has represented himself throughout this process, which, in hindsight, may not have been the wisest decision.
His contract stand-off has been full of social media drama, and it’s become evident that the Ravens have no intention whatsoever of meeting his demands.
Lamar has every single right to feel disrespected by the organization, and he might not be motivated to put his body at risk and play for a team that clearly doesn’t value him enough.
But it doesn’t seem like he’s got a lot of options right now, either, as not many teams will be willing to offer him a fully-guaranteed contract with his recent history of injuries.
Where will he end up?
That remains to be seen, but his days as a Raven might be over already.
