The New York Giants found a new star receiver in Malik Nabers last season.
Nabers was a highly-touted player coming out of LSU, and he certainly lived up to the hype, putting up 1,204 yards on 109 receptions.
This was a much-needed spark on a Giants offense that had struggled to get much going during the 2023 campaign.
Nabers looks to be a part of this team’s core for the foreseeable future, someone who could have success no matter who the team decides to roll out at quarterback.
Things went well for Nabers on the field last year, but he recently suffered a great loss in his former teammate Kyren Lacy, who passed away earlier this year, a death that affected him.
As if Nabers wasn’t motivated enough to succeed, he’s seemingly dedicating the 2025 season to Lacy, as it was recently revealed that he is going to pay tribute to his former teammate with custom thigh pads.
Heartwarming: Giants star WR Malik Nabers will honor the memory of his best friend Kyren Lacy with a customized thigh pad that he will wear this NFL season.

This will be a constant reminder to Nabers of his former teammate and friend, propelling him forward and giving him increased motivation to succeed and give it his all.
Hopefully, Nabers’ Giants teammates help support him during this time, rallying together as one unit to pay their respects.
This will be an interesting team to watch over the next several months, especially as they work through their QB room and figure out who their starter will be.
Many believe that Russell Wilson will start in Week 1, but there’s no telling what will happen after that, which could make for an exciting season with constant competition.
