Malik Nabers Ranks His Top 3 LSU Receivers

The NFL might be more pass-heavy now than ever before, which is why teams are emphasizing their quarterbacks and pass-catchers.

QBs have been selected with top-tier draft picks for years, but wide receivers have made their way up draft boards lately due to this increase in volume.

Young receivers are asked to do more from the get-go, and many of them are answering the call.

This was put on full display in 2024, as three rookie receivers had over 1,000 yards, and one tight end, Brock Bowers, also achieved this elusive mark.

Brian Thomas Jr. led the pack with 1,282, but shortly behind him was Malik Nabers with 1,204.

Nabers was a highly touted player coming out of college, and his game tape quickly translated to the NFL, as he seemed to put on a show every week.

His confidence helped him quickly rise in the ranks in the conversation of the best young receivers.

Nabers was recently asked on CBS Sports HQ about the top three receivers from LSU, and he quickly listed himself as the best, Ja’Marr Chase as two, and Justin Jefferson as three.

This is a sign of his confidence and trust in himself, as he boldly ranked himself ahead of Chase and Jefferson.

Both of those players also made their marks early, but they’ve sustained their success over multiple years.

Nabers’ rookie season certainly indicated that he could be a staple of the Giants’ offense for the foreseeable future, but he’ll have to keep that momentum moving to keep proving himself.
