Malcolm Brogdon has been around the league during the last nine seasons, but now he is heading to the New York Knicks, where he is hoping for big things.
He recently talked about why he chose to sign with the Knicks.
For Brogdon, it’s all about the chance to compete at a high level and be a part of a championship team.
“Going into my 10th year, I wanted to be in a good organization that’s competing and trying to win a championship. I had that in Milwaukee, Boston, and here I think there’s a real shot,” Brogdon said, via James L. Edwards III.

Brogdon might be coming to New York at the perfect time.
The team is poised to potentially have a stellar 2025-26.
Last season, they showed great promise and went far into the playoffs, but things are looking even better in the new year.
The Eastern Conference is wide open, and many people predict Brogdon and the Knicks will perhaps go all the way to the NBA Finals.
Brodgon is a former Rookie of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year.
The Knicks believe he will bring great attention to detail, ball-handling, and shooting to the court, either on or off the bench.
He missed out on winning a title with the Bucks and the Celtics, but now Brogdon is with a team that might be on the verge of earning a ring.
This could be the perfect place and the perfect time for Brogdon and his lofty NBA goals.
New York is happy to have him, and Brogdon is happy to be there.
