Unless you get tickets to a Los Angeles Lakers game, you rarely ever see LeBron James play basketball in person.

That makes sense because he is one of the most valued and accomplished athletes on Earth, he doesn’t just go and play pick-up basketball at the local park.

But fans that never make their way to Crypto.com Arena were able to get very close to James this weekend.

A big thank you to LeBron James for playing in the Drew League in South Los Angeles yesterday and giving all the young fans who can’t afford to go to a Lakers game and have never been to https://t.co/dLkj0Uwj5S Arena an opportunity to see him play in person.

That is because James played in a Drew League game on Saturday and drove the fans wild.

The gym was packed to the gills for this pro-am game and the fans were loving every second of watching James play.

He definitely rewarded everyone who waited in long lines and sat elbow to elbow with others, putting up 42 points in an explosive, dominant performance.

As Magic Johnson put it, James gave young fans a chance to see him in person.

Many of these fans don’t often get the chance to see James play and they definitely don’t get to see him play in such a small, intimate format.

Imagine the impact this game had on so many people.

James In Person

Most people only watch James take to the court on TV.

Seeing him in person is a completely different experience.

For fans of basketball, this could be a life-changing experience.

If you’re a young basketball fanatic who idolizes James then seeing him in person for a Drew League game is something that will never be forgotten.

It’s the equivalent of seeing your favorite band perform in a small, secret venue.

There is no doubt that James is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and seeing him play is something truly special.
