Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is playing some of the best basketball of his career.
That’s saying a lot, considering he is a two-time MVP and one of the most talented and versatile big men in the league.
Fresh off of beating the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, Jokic just received a lot of praise from NBA icon Magic Johnson.
“The Joker is changing the game of basketball right before our very eyes much like Michael, Larry, LeBron, Steph, Kobe, Kareem, and Shaq,” Johnson said on Twitter.

Johnson obviously knows a thing or two about basketball and it’s very hard to argue against what he said about Jokic.
For years now, Jokic has been an incredibly impressive, dominant, and seemingly unstoppable player.
But for all of the skill he has, his track record in the playoffs has been lacking.
The Nuggets have had some strong regular seasons but they have consistently fallen short in the postseason.
However, they are in the midst of their best playoff run ever, partly thanks to Jokic.
Powered by his 29.9 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 10.3 assists (a league-high), the Nuggets are now about to enter their very first NBA Finals.
Additionally, most betting sites state that the Nuggets are the odds-on favorites to win the championship.
People, such as Johnson, have already spoken about Jokic as one of the greatest players in the league right now.
But if he is able to push his team to its first championship victory, he will be talked of as an all-time great and a legend of the game.
The legacy of Jokic and the Nuggets could be greatly changed in the weeks ahead.
