LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers made NBA history yet again on Tuesday evening.
He became the first player to score 50,000 combined points in the regular season and postseason during his team’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Following that big moment, Luka Doncic spoke with the media, via NBA on X, about how impressed he was by James.
He also added a prediction about how much more James can score.
“He might get to 70K, you never know,” Doncic said.
"He might get to 70K."

James surpassed this historic mark early in the first quarter of LA’s 136-115 win over the Pelicans.
With a deft three-pointer, James earned yet another entry in the big book of NBA history, and the fans instantly started to cheer for his latest accomplishment.
James got incredibly close to passing 50,000 the other night and was at 49,999 points when Tuesday’s game started.
He is already the top scorer in NBA history in both the regular season and the playoffs and has done so many other historic things.
At 40 years old, he is still performing at a very high level, and it’s not wild to think of him scoring thousands of points before he retires.
Now in his 22nd season, James is averaging 24.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.5 assists on 51.9 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from the three-point line.
Right now, it seems unlikely that anyone will ever surpass the totals that James has accumulated.
However, some have said that Doncic is the only current player who might be able to do it.
What are the chances of Doncic reaching 50,000 points himself before he retires?
