Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks is currently on the road to the FIBA World Cup.
His Slovenian national team is getting ready to face off against Team USA, Croatia, Greece, Spain, and Japan in preparation games leading up to the highly anticipated tournament.
There will be plenty of people rooting Doncic on.
In fact, one of his biggest supporters was on hand to wish the star luck.
The Slovenian team tweeted a picture of Doncic courtside with his Mavericks head coach, Jason Kidd, just before getting some practice shots in on the court.
The two men looked happy to see each other, which is definitely good news for fans of the Mavericks.

Both Doncic and Kidd are appearing well-rested, tanned, and relaxed.
They have a lot of work ahead of them.
Doncic will be focusing on the World Cup, of course, and is hoping he can help his Slovenian team go far.
As for Kidd, he is getting ready for the upcoming season, and it will be an important one for him and the Mavericks.
They started last season in a strong fashion but things got progressively worse.
Even after adding Kyrie Irving, the Mavs completely fell apart as the postseason approached and they ended up missing the playoffs entirely.
This was a truly embarrassing result for Kidd and his team.
Now a lot more is on the line.
Doncic and Kidd are all smiles right now but if the next season isn’t a lot better than the last, both of them could be departing from the Mavericks.
Kidd could lose his job and Doncic could demand a trade from the floundering team.
Fans are hoping the positive attitude shown in the picture above carries into the upcoming season and beyond.
