Everyone can agree that Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks is one of the best NBA stars currently playing.
But what can he do for Team Slovenia in the FIBA Basketball World Cup?
He is going to play hard and try to make his country proud.
Many people believe that Slovenia really has a chance at winning it all, thanks to the power of Doncic.
A video shared by the team showed Doncic sitting on the sidelines of the court, putting up – and sinking – a wildly impressive shot while still sitting down.

Obviously, Doncic won’t be called upon to make these baskets from the sidelines when the World Cup starts.
But his team will look to him to score from all over the court, as he has for years while playing for the Mavericks.
Doncic is a truly phenomenal talent.
In 2022-23, he averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8 assists on 49.6% from the field.
He has made a habit of creating amazing clutch shots and jaw-dropping buzzer-beaters.
Some people have criticized certain aspects of his game but everyone agrees that he’s one of the best shooters in the league.
Despite that, Doncic’s team really struggled last season.
Even with the acquisition of Kyrie Irving at the trade deadline, Dallas failed to make the playoffs.
That came just a year after them going all the way to the Western Conference Finals.
Doncic is hoping that the Mavericks have better luck in 2023-24.
But before he can start that long campaign, he will focus on leading Team Slovenia in the upcoming World Cup.
