The Dallas Mavericks made a phenomenal trade by acquiring Luka Doncic on the night of the 2018 NBA Draft.
Doncic was initially drafted by the Atlanta Hawks, but the Mavericks decided to trade Trae Young for him.
Since then, Doncic has only improved his basketball skills and is now viewed as one of the top players in the NBA.
However, Doncic’s iso-style basketball can become a tad bit exhausting for fans.
As a result, he is always prone to getting booed by the opposing team’s crowd.
Doncic suffered this fate during the Mavericks’ recent matchup against the Detroit Pistons as fans chanted he “sucks.”
The 5x NBA All-Star had a blunt reaction to the crowd’s chant during the postgame press conference, via Brad Townsend.
“In Detroit?” Doncic questioned, when asked if he heard the chant.
I asked Doncic if he heard the fans chant that he sucks, Oh, he heard.

Doncic is among one of the best players in the NBA and he has undoubtedly learned how to tackle a hostile crowd.
Rather than allowing the crowd to get into his head, he uses it to motivate himself during the game.
It was evident from Doncic’s triple-double performance against the team.
The Mavericks superstar finished the game with 39 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists as he registered his sixth straight triple-double.
Doncic’s sensational performance helped the Mavericks register a solid 142-124 win over the Pistons.
The victory also aided in the Mavericks in improving their record to 36-28.
The Mavs are now the eighth seed in the Western Conference as they get ready for the final stretch of the season.
Can the Mavericks make an impact in the 2024 playoffs?
