Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks aren’t going down without a serious fight.
The team took down the Phoenix Suns, 113-86, on Thursday night, ensuring a Game 7 battle for the entire series.
Whoever wins the next game on Sunday wins the series and moves onto the Western Conference Finals.
Some people thought the Suns would steamroll through the Mavericks but that definitely hasn’t been the case and that’s been partly due to Doncic.
The young superstar has been on fire for all of the playoffs, especially against the Suns.
And the past promises he’ll be a huge threat in Game 7.

Doncic has scored 39.0 points when facing elimination, according to ESPN.
His 39 points are higher than Alex Groza‘s 33.5, LeBron James‘ 33.5, Michael Jordan‘s 31.3, and even Wilt Chamberlain‘s 31.1.
Does this mean that Doncic and Dallas will claim the victory in Game 7?
Backs Against The Wall
The Mavericks have been trying to outdo themselves all season long.
They have made no secret of the fact that they were aiming to reach the Finals and anything less would be a disappointment.
The Mavericks have encountered many challenges but they are definitely surpassing their last few seasons.
But do they have what it takes to conquer the Suns?
If they play as they did in Games 3, 4, and 6, the answer is yes.
Dallas has found ways to shut down Chris Paul and Devin Booker and when that happens the Suns are completely rudderless.
Jason Kidd‘s squad has also been masterful at forcing turnovers and making points off of them.
They will have to compete against a fired-up Suns team – and their fans – on Sunday’s Game 7 but they have shown they might be able to steal another win.
