Over the winter, the Minnesota Twins and Miami Marlins pulled off one of the more balanced and mutually beneficial trades in recent memory.
Miami gave the Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez.
In return, the Twins sent the reigning American League batting champion in Luis Arraez back to Miami.
So far, the deal has worked out well for both teams.
It has made an immediate positive impact on the Marlins, who many expected to be out of contention.
However, they are tied for second place in the NL East with a 16-13 record.
Arraez has certainly been a key contributor, and on Twitter, MLB posted a graphic featuring some very impressive numbers from the former batting champion.

Arraez is currently hitting at a .438 clip and getting on base at a .500 clip.
Needless to say, Arraez has been a hit machine and is continually finding ways to get on base.
His batting average and on-base percentage both lead Major League Baseball.
The 26-year-old also has 39 hits in his first 89 at-bats of the season, has scored 12 runs, stolen a base, and posted an OPS of 1.051, all while hitting just one home run.
In fact, Arraez only has 15 total homers in his career.
But the young Marlins star is showing no signs of slowing down and has provided the team with a much-needed offensive spark.
The Marlins are only three games back of the first-place Atlanta Braves in the NL East and are tied with the New York Mets for second place in the division.
