The Denver Broncos are faced with a difficult decision this offseason.
There has been a lot of chatter surrounding this team and their current status at quarterback.
Russell Wilson was brought in two seasons ago to try and turn them around, but to that point, he hasn’t represented the level of success the Broncos were expecting.
With his recent on-field performances in mind, many believe the team should move on from him, even though it would be a massive cap hit.
While this is a commonly-held belief by several fans and analysts, LeSean McCoy recently presented an alternate viewpoint in a recent segment of “Speak” on FS1.
McCoy said, “They always say it’s greener on the other side. I had about four girlfriends, and they were right. I should’ve stayed.”

Wilson hasn’t played like an MVP candidate over the past two years, but McCoy does bring up an interesting point.
At least with Wilson at the helm, the Broncos know what they have.
They know how he has performed in this offense, and they know how he acts in the clubhouse and interacts with team personnel.
That cannot be said about a new quarterback, should they choose to make that decision.
Wilson is a known entity whether they like it or not, which could play into the choice they make over the next several weeks.
The Broncos haven’t been relevant over the past several years, with much thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs and their dominance in the AFC West.
Can they make the necessary changes in 2024 to shift the tides?
