The Los Angeles Lakers are two wins away from taking down the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors in the second round of the playoffs.
Despite getting blown out in Game 2 in San Francisco at the Chase Center, the Lakers were able to bounce back with a vengeance in Game 3 by crushing the Warriors in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena to take a 2-1 series lead.
With the Lakers now in control with one more game set to be played on their home floor before heading back to the Bay Area for Game 5, superstar forward LeBron James had some advice for his teammates on staying locked in during the postseason via Bleacher Report.
“Stay off social media. … When you watch the other playoff games, watch them on mute and play some music in the background. That’s what I do.”

Although James hasn’t played all that well during this second-round series, it has been a team effort by the Lakers in their attempt to end the Warriors’ title defense, with Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell playing well in their two wins.
At this point, the Lakers look like the better team in this series, even if James has had his fair share of struggles to play at the level we’re accustomed to seeing him play in the playoffs.
If the Lakers can get the best of the Warriors in Game 4, the storied franchise will have a commanding 3-1 lead before heading back to the Bay Area for Game 5 for a potential close-out game on the road.
However, the Warriors are a tough team to beat, especially when their backs are against the wall, as it will be in the next two games, so it will be no easy task for the Lakers to get these two wins to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
