And so, the NBA Bubble is officially over as the Los Angeles Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, were successful in Game 6, defeating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.
In what has been an unprecedented year, all is right in the world as the Los Angeles Lakers are once again NBA Champions.
In a year filled with pain, suffering and doubt, the universe finally worked its magic as the Lakers were able to honor the memory of Kobe Bryant.
After the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant in January, LeBron promised Laker fans they would honor him.
Well, there was no better way of honoring than him to win the whole damn thing.
I know Kobe is smiling above and is proud of his friend, LeBron James.
But, during the celebration, LeBron James sent a message to the media.
LeBron James Wants The Respect He Deserves
The talk of the town were the Los Angeles Clippers as they signed Kawhi Leonard and traded for Paul George.
More so because Kawhi was in close talks with the Lakers and it seemed as if he was going to sign with them.
But, here we are; the Lakers have captured their 17th NBA title, tying the Celtics and LeBron captured his fourth title with his third different team.
After the win, LeBron had strong words for the world.

Lebron knows that this team was doubted from the beginning of the year.
He also knows that he was doubted as he was entering his 17th NBA season.
LeBron James is the first player in NBA history to win three NBA Finals and three Final MVP’s with three different teams.
No matter where you rank him on the GOAT list (which will be a topic of discussion for a while now), you have to appreciate his greatness.
Love him or hate him, LeBron deserves respect as one of the best to ever play this game.
GM Rob Pelinka Deserves Respect Too
In an NBA offseason that involved a lot of player movement, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka’s work went unnoticed.
Well, at first it was criticized and then as the season progressed, it went unnoticed.
GM Rob Pelinka made many signings in the offseason, such as Danny Green, Rajon Rondo and Dwight Howard.
All key guys who played important roles on this team throughout the playoffs.
Lakers legend Magic Johnson showed love and support for his former co-worker last night.
Give the Lakers GM Rob Pelinka a lot of credit for putting together an championship roster!!!

Pelinka, who was also the agent of one Kobe Bryant, touched upon that last night after the win.
“To be able to share this moment right now, knowing he and Gianna are looking down from heaven …”

Happy to see Pelinka get the respect he deserves from the media as he was able to build a championship team.
A lot is unknown about the future of this Lakers roster, but for now, let them soak in the moment and enjoy their title victory.
