The Los Angeles Lakers were able to survive in their play-in game on Tuesday night.
Despite being down by double digits in the fourth quarter, the experience of the Lakers prevailed at the end.
With the win, the Lakers are now set to take on the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.
This will be a highly competitive series and one that both teams are looking forward to.
Both Dillon Brooks and LeBron James had interesting comments ahead of the series opener.
According to Michael Corvo, Brooks said he “wouldn’t mind playing LeBron” in the first round.
Also, LeBron gave a lengthy answer as to why the Grizzlies will be a tough matchup.
Dillon Brooks on Tuesday: "I wouldn’t mind playing LeBron in a 7-game series…knock him out right away…that’ll be a good 1st round matchup for us.”
LeBron later: “Dillon Brooks…you can’t disrespect him because he makes shots.”

LeBron saying that Brooks makes shots is funny because Brooks shot 24% from the field against the Lakers.
Also, Brooks is not known for being an offensive player.
He takes a ton of shots but shoots a poor percentage.
For the season, Brooks has an abysmal 39.6% field goal percentage.
That is the exact type of player the Lakers should want taking shots.
It seems like these comments from James were all just to butter up the Grizzlies.
Make them feel overconfident as these two teams are set to do battle.
This may be one of the best first-round series, and it will be must-see TV.
Plenty of pressure with be on James to try and carry his team against the inexperienced Grizzlies.
