The Los Angeles Clippers have finally hit their stride.
Even though they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, it seems like the team has finally meshed and found its groove, with their rotations clicking, their stars feeding off each other, and their defense getting better.
That’s why when LeBron James was asked about the ‘James Harden’s Clippers,’ he wanted to make sure to give his former coach his flowers, correcting the media to state that they’re actually Tyronn Lue’s Clippers (Via Dave McMenamin).
“It don’t take Tyronn Lue long to make sure s*** get right. It took them 5 games, and they’ve been cookin since,” James said.

Lue was able to weather the storm and deserves plenty of credit for finding some balance with this star-studded team, especially considering the fact he has four ball-dominant stars who are all used to being the focal point of the offense.
There was a point in the season when there were plenty of rumors about Lue not wanting to stay there and vice versa, but the former NBA champion coach kept his head up and continued to put in the work.
The Clippers have the potential to be one of the strongest powerhouses in the Association.
People still need to see them being at full strength come playoff time, which is perhaps why there’s still some skepticism about them and their potential status as NBA championship contenders.
But Lue has established himself as one of the best coaches in the league, and it’s about time LeBron and other players started giving him his flowers after all he’s accomplished since being just another assistant coach on Doc Rivers’ staff.
