It’s safe to say that LeBron James has had plenty of elite teammates throughout the course of his NBA career.
He can say a thing or two about some of the best players to ever lace them up.
Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kevin Love, and Anthony Davis are just a few of the names that come to mind when discussing James’ great teammates.
But one stands alone in the ‘elite ball-handler’ category, and that’s Kyrie Irving.
At least, that’s how James feels, as he recently shared an Instagram story deeming his former teammate as the greatest player ever with the ball in his hands.

There’s no denying that Kyrie’s handles are mesmerizing, and he has a strong case for having the best handles in the history of the game.
His offensive talents have never been put into doubt, and he has a never-ending bag of moves and counters to score even against the most dominant and physical defenders in the game.
Moreover, James’ relationship with Kyrie has been kind of complicated over the years.
They didn’t seem to get along during their days together with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but they’ve clearly made amends ever since.
Irving was tied with a move to the Los Angeles Lakers last season, and there were strong rumors of a potential reunion, which obviously didn’t happen.
But given Kyrie’s history of volatility and forcing his way out of teams before his contract runs out, it’s not far-fetched to think that they could team up again somewhere down the line.
