LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has done so much during his 21-year NBA career.
At this point, it feels like there isn’t a single record he hasn’t at least flirted with.
According to StatMuse, James now holds the most All-NBA selections by a 35+-year-old player.
He has been selected five times, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was picked four times, Chris Paul has been chosen three times, and Karl Malone earned the honor three times as well.
Even though James is 39, many people think he will earn this distinction at least one more time.

James might be 39, but he’s definitely not playing like it.
He averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game for the Lakers during the 2023-24 season.
To make that even more impressive, his 54.0 percent field goal percentage was his highest in years and his 41.0 percent 3-point percentage was his best ever.
In some ways, James is literally just getting better with age.
His greatness was on display again at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Even though he was playing alongside many men who were much younger than him, James was still one of the most important players for Team USA.
Whether with the Lakers, on an All-Star team or in the Olympics, James is still a massively impactful player.
For the past few years, some people have been waiting for him to slow down in a considerable way.
But it seems like James might not ever be beaten down by Father Time like other players have been.
How many more All-NBA selections does James have coming before he hangs up the jersey for good?
At this point, everyone is just expecting continued greatness for the rest of his career, however long that may be.
