Saturday night’s clash between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers will be talked about for quite some time.
The Lakers had a chance to beat the reigning Eastern Conference champions at TD Garden, with Jayson Tatum clearly fouling LeBron James in the final play of regulation.
Surprisingly — or maybe not anymore — there was no call, and the Celtics eventually won the game in overtime.
Needless to say, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Dennis Schroder, and even Darvin Ham didn’t hesitate to take huge shots at the referees, as it’s been the fourth time in less than a month that a blatantly missed call has cost them a game.
The referees even admitted they were wrong and published a corny statement about how they always want to be better — yet only seem to get worse.
So, now that he at least got an admission of guilt, LeBron joked around with Jayson Tatum on Instagram, posting a clip of Tatum’s obvious foul and congratulating him on the ‘good block.’
"Good block Jayson Tatum."

When asked about the final play, Tatum claimed that the final two minutes of the game ‘were a blur’ while smirking, but even the biggest Celtics fan should know that he clearly fouled LeBron.
James is currently averaging just 6.2 free throws per game, the lowest figure around the league’s top-eight scorers, per ESPN.
And while it would be tough to say that he’s being targeted by the referees — especially considering he’s never been called for an offensive foul in his life despite constantly elbowing his way to the rim — they’ve been terrible against the Lakers as of late.
