LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready for a very long and maybe very exciting season.
They are poised for their best season in years because of the depth of their roster.
Some of that depth comes from Rui Hachimura, who joined the team last season and immediately had an impact.
James gave Hachimura a hard time in a video released by the Lakers on Twitter.
Asked what it was like working out with him during the summer, James jokingly said Hachimura was the “worst guy I’ve ever worked out with in my life” and repeatedly called him “terrible.”
But before walking away, James turned to the camera and admitted that he loves Hachimura.

The fact that these two worked out together in the summer – and the fact that James is teasing him – shows they have some good chemistry.
Chemistry is obviously very important for any NBA team, especially this one.
There are a lot of new pieces in place now that GM Rob Pelinka has made so many moves.
Hachimura is just one of the newer players wearing purple and gold.
Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood, Gabe Vincent, and Cam Reddish are some of the other new recruits on the team.
Their workout sessions and training camp will be vital so the Lakers are ready to burst into the new season when it kicks off in a few weeks.
They had a good thing going during the second half of last season – will they be able to keep it up?
James, Hachimura, and the new Lakers players hope the new season builds upon the success of the last one.
