The upcoming 2022-23 NBA season is going to be a big one for LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
It’s going to be important because it could possibly turn around the team’s fate and get them back on the right track.
But it’s also going to be memorable because it will place James alongside some of the biggest, most historic names in the history of the league.
When @KingJames takes the floor for the season opener (Oct. 18 at GSW), he will become just the 10th player ever to play 20 NBA seasons.
He joins: Kobe, Kareem, KG, Dirk, Moses, Vince Carter, Robert Parish, Kevin Willis and Jamal Crawford.

When James plays on opening night against the Golden State Warriors, he will become the only 10th player to participate in 20 NBA seasons.
James will now join Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Moses Malone, Vince Carter, Robert Parish, Kevin Willis, and Jamal Crawford.
Will James’ 20th season be one of his best yet?
The King’s Reign Continues
The Lakers had a whole lot of issues last season and ended up missing the playoffs entirely.
It was a complete mess and an embarrassing moment for the team as well as for James himself.
However, he did quite well on his own, breaking new records and coming very close to being the season’s scoring champion.
Therefore, there is a chance that James really could produce one of his best seasons ever in the months ahead.
It’ll be exceedingly hard because he will be turning 38 during the 2022-23 season but he has proven that age doesn’t really slow him down as it does others.
He will be celebrating his 20th season in the league this year and there is very little doubt that at this point next year, he will be preparing to celebrate his 21st.
The bottom line is that James will probably do incredibly well in the 2022-23 season even if the Lakers struggle once again.
