LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers are looking to make 2022-23 a revenge season.
Fans are hoping that it will be because they can’t sit by and watch another year like the last one.
The team didn’t even make the playoffs and looked like a complete mess from pretty much the very first game.
Followers of the purple and gold are not going to put up with much more of it and they are fired up and upset.
🎙️ "There's definitely a chip on my shoulder, a chip on our shoulder and just wearing this Lakers uniform is just UNACCEPTABLE not to be able to compete for a championship."

But apparently so is James.
Speaking to the press during the team’s media day, James made it clear that he wants to win in the upcoming season.
“There’s definitely a chip on my shoulder, a chip on our shoulder,” James said about his team and the dismal season they just had.
He added, “Just wearing this Lakers uniform is just unacceptable not to be able to compete for a championship.”
James is saying all the right things – and the rest of the team echoes his sentiment – but will that actually result in victories?
The Many Troubles In LA
The issues that plagued the Lakers last season are plenty and hard to address.
James did great work but the team suffered when he was injured.
Anthony Davis seemed fragile and rarely played with the same intensity as before.
As for Russell Westbrook, he just didn’t fit with the team and felt out of place and unsure of himself.
The young guys on the squad showed promise but they still need time to mature and grow.
Moving forward, the team will need to figure out how to tweak what they already have, since the roster hasn’t changed much in the last few months.
Head coach Darvin Ham has his work cut out for him.
His star player and millions of fans are demanding that the team step it up in a huge way.
