The Carolina Panthers made a tough call about their franchise quarterback.
Bryce Young won’t be the starter going forward, or at least for Week 3, as they’re going to roll with Andy Dalton.
Needless to say, making this decision just two games into the season seems rash, even if he struggled mightily in his rookie campaign.
With that in mind, LeBron James took to X to share some words of encouragement for the former No. 1 pick.
James let Young know that he should keep holding his head high and putting the work in, adding that this wasn’t on him.
Bryce Young hold ya head Young ??!! Rooting for you and know this ain’t on you! Continue to put the work in and it shall prevail! ????

Truth be told, it’s hard to put all the blame on Bryce Young here.
Granted, he’s looked far from a starting-caliber NFL quarterback and his physical limitations aren’t going to go away.
Then again, his first coach was fired midway through the season, and the coach they brought in to develop him benched him two games into the season.
Perhaps this has to do with David Tepper or perhaps Dave Canales not wanting to waste a lot of time on a seemingly lost cause.
Whatever the case, Young was never truly put in a position to succeed.
All things considered, perhaps he’ll be better off as a backup, and it’s safe to say that the trade to get him was one of the worst in NFL history.
But given the circumstances, it seems that giving up on a No. 1 pick less than two seasons into his career is the kind of decision that has made the Panthers one of the worst organizations in the league in the present day.
