The NCAA Tournament officially started on Thursday and March Madness got off to a great start for many teams.
There were a few underdog squads that overcame the odds and won their first game, including the Duquesne Dukes.
Following their 71-67 win over BYU, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers hopped on Twitter to celebrate.
“AYYYYYYYEEEEE!!! First tournament win in 55 years!@CoachDambrot 🐐 @DuqMBB 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Keep it going,” James tweeted.

Some might wonder why an NBA icon like James is so invested in the school but there is history there.
James never went to college but his high school basketball days were led by current Duquesne coach Keith Dambrot.
Dambrot was the head coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School in Akron, Ohio for the the first two years of James’ high school career and they established a close relationship.
Therefore, it’s not surprising to see James rooting for his old coach and the team that he leads.
In fact, James’ support of the Dukes goes well beyond just rooting for them on Twitter.
Just the other day, he had a box of brand-new basketball sneakers delivered to the locker room, another sign of just how much he supports them.
Now the Dukes will be playing against either Illinois or Morehead State and the competition will be even tougher.
James will be closely paying attention and cheering them on.
Aside from watching the NCAA Tournament, James will be playing against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
It’s another crucial game for his Lakers, who are attempting to stay in contention for the playoffs, or at least the Play-In Tournament.
LA is currently the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-32 record.
Will it be a good weekend for both the Lakers and Duquesne?
