LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is obviously quite proud of his performance from Monday night.
Not only did he create a triple-double with 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists, he also produced a crazy dunk on his old teammate Kevin Love.
The dunk has created quite a viral sensation online, with people calling it one of James’ best ever.
Love himself commented on the dunk after the game, tweeting “I’m not (expletive) with my guy King James for at least the next 48 hours!!!!”
Forgive me! 🥺🥺😶 https://t.co/NwwdXPd7W0 pic.twitter.com/kiRg8lpmqa

James responded to that comment, tweeting back “Forgive me!” with a .GIF of a woman emotionally crying.
While James and Love are making light of the dunk, it really should be celebrated because it’s not every day you see a 37-year-old do something like that.
Beating Father Time
We’ve never seen someone at James’ age play like this.
There were many people who thought that he would be playing for fewer minutes and creating fewer points this season.
That’s only understandable because the man is 37 and age takes its toll on everyone, right?
Apparently not.
He is playing more minutes this season with more points, more blocks, more rebounds, and a higher field goal percentage too.
It’s just a shame that James is doing all of this while his team flounders and struggles to even make the playoffs.
Following Monday’s win, the Lakers are now the ninth seed again.
That guarantees them a spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament but it doesn’t guarantee a position in the playoffs.
This means that James’ incredible season could conclude with him taking an extra long summer break.
So while the dunk over Love is worth all the hype and praise it’s getting, it is still just a brief, bright moment in an otherwise dark and dreary season.
