Team USA rebounded from their tough loss on Sunday against Team Mexico with a blowout win over Canada.
Chicago White Sox starter Lance Lynn got the start for the Americans on Monday.
The veteran right-hander went five innings and allowed just one run on two hits, one of which was a solo home run by Jared Young in the top of the second.
The former World Series champion earned the win as Team USA knocked off Canada, winning by a final of 12-1.
After the game, Mark DeRosa, the manager of Team USA, commented on what Lynn was able to do and offered praise for the veteran righty.

Lynn certainly set the tone on Monday.
He enjoyed a perfect first inning, punctuated by a looking strikeout of Tyler O’Neill.
From then on, Lynn was solid, save for one mistake, which was Young’s home run.
After his strong five-inning performance, the right-hander gave way to Miles Mikolas, who pitched two scoreless innings to finish things off and secure a key win for the Americans.
But DeRosa was clearly pleased by what he saw out of Lynn on Monday night.
Lynn set a positive tone and was backed up by a huge nine-run first inning, which was punctuated by a towering three-run home run off the bat of Mike Trout.
Lynn’s White Sox teammate Tim Anderson also had a solid game, going 2-for-3 and driving in a run on a triple in the second.
Team USA’s next game will take place on Wednesday against Colombia
