The recent match between the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers was an interesting one.
That’s because it was missing some of the biggest stars from each team.
Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons were still out for the Nets while LeBron James and Anthony Davis were on the bench for the Lakers.
But that didn’t mean that there wasn’t still some explosive plays and impressive fireworks.

Patrick Beverley was playing that night and he produced 5 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists.
Those aren’t stunning numbers but Beverley’s abilities are still gaining praise from an unlikely place.
Kyrie Irving of the Nets, who was guarded by Beverley for most of the game, had a positive thing to say about him.
“If you can score on him, you can score on [anyone],” Irving said of his opponent.
Irving knows a thing or two about basketball so people pay attention to him when he celebrates another star.
It is still surprising to see him speak so highly of Beverley, who is known for generating a lot of strong opinions – both positive and negative – throughout the league.
He is best known for his fiery personality and his in-your-face attitude.
This personality is so strong and big that it often overshadows his skills on the court.
Beverley is averaging just 6.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, which are some of his worst numbers ever.
Even though he is a fierce defensive star, the Lakers are still thinking about trading Beverley away within the next week.
He has only been with the team for this season but there is a very good chance that his time in LA is coming to an end.
