The San Francisco 49ers are hoping to build off the success they have had the past few seasons.
Each of the last two years they have made the NFC Championship Game but lost.
Now they will have a different-looking team this year, at least at quarterback.
It appears that Trey Lance and Brock Purdy will be in a quarterback competition this training camp.
Both players are coming off of serious injuries and it will be interesting to see who is in better shape.
But one player we know will be at camp is star wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
He even wanted to spend this offseason getting himself into the best shape possible.
According to Adam Schefter, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said Samuel sent him shirtless pictures to show the shape he was in.
49ers' WR Deebo Samuel has been determined to prove to HC Kyle Shanahan and others he will be better prepared this season. "Never had a grown man send me so many pictures of himself with his shirt off, but he looked good," Shanahan said.

That is certainly an odd way to show off how prepared you are for the season.
But, Samuel is doing what is necessary to have himself ready to go at the start of camp.
The 49ers are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL once again.
In a weak NFC, they are seen as a top-two team.
But it will all depend on their health.
The 49ers have consistently been one of the most injured teams in the league.
If that is the case this season, they might have a hard time even making the playoffs.
Either way, it is good to see their veteran receiver taking this offseason seriously.
It will be fun to see the type of production Samuel can have this year.
