It’s been a tough couple of years for the Washington Wizards.
They went from being a perennial playoff team with John Wall, Bradley Beal, and Marcin Gortat, to an ever-struggling and underachieving team, regardless of who’s on their roster.
That’s why former Wizards guard Spencer Dinwiddie took a shot at his former teammates, stating that they don’t even care about winning and they’re all about showboating and getting paid.
Needless to say, those comments didn’t sit well with some of the guys in the locker room, especially with Kyle Kuzma, who took to Twitter to make fun of Dinwiddie’s comments after the Wizards’ road win over the Dallas Mavericks, his current team.
The funny thing is they don’t play winning basketball 🤣🤣🤣✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽👋🏽🤡 https://t.co/O4klCwulLG

But even if Dinwiddie may have talked a little bit more than he should, he’s not entirely wrong about the current status of the Wizards.
All-Star guard Bradley Beal signed one of the largest contracts in NBA history last offseason despite knowing the team had zero chance of being a legit contender.
They’re currently sitting on a 21-26 record and the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference, all despite having a talented roster with Beal, Kuzma, and Kristaps Porzingis.
The Wizards have been mostly mediocre this season, going 5-5 in their past ten matchups, and struggling to beat lesser teams, barely going 12-10 at home and 9-16 on the road.
So, maybe the best way to silence Spencer Dinwiddie and all the critics would be by winning some basketball games and making the playoffs instead of taking that beef to social media.
