Everybody views greatness differently, but it’s difficult to argue against Tom Brady as the greatest NFL player of all time.
He is the only player to win seven Super Bowls, and he did this while playing the most important position and collecting nearly every record along the way.
He has set the bar incredibly high for the next generation, but one of his peers, Kurt Warner, recently shared that he believes there is a quarterback out there who will surpass Brady as the GOAT.
During a Super Bowl LIX pregame appearance on the NFL Network on Sunday, Warner stated that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes would be regarded as the GOAT when all is said and done.
“The nature of how people watch our game is different…We’ve seen Patrick Mahomes do so many things that we look and say he may be the most physically gifted quarterback our game has ever seen, and I believe that is what ultimately will put him over the top,” Warner said.

Warner said we’ll compare the two at the end when they have a bunch of championships, and Mahomes will get the edge for being able to do everything.
Physically, Mahomes and Brady can’t be compared, but in terms of accolades and accomplishments, Mahomes still has a long way to go, even though he is off to a great start.
Completing a three-peat on Sunday would give him something no other quarterback has and also land him a fourth Super Bowl before the age of 30.
