He is definitely looking good, but will he stay that way for the entire season?
The biggest concern that Hawks fans have about Porzingis is his health and whether he can remain in good shape for all 82 games.
If he does, the Hawks could skyrocket up the rankings in the Eastern Conference and might even compete for a championship.
The Celtics know how much Porzingis can help.
During his years with them, he became a vital part of the frontcourt and was one of the reasons why they won a championship.
With that being said, he never played for a full season with Boston.
Last year, he put up 19.5 points and 6.8 rebounds but only appeared in 42 games due to injuries.
Porzingis has never played in all 82 games, and the Hawks are well aware of that.
The good news for them is that he’s not the only powerhouse working in Atlanta.
The team is more packed than it has been in years, which means they could still succeed even if Porzingis has more health problems.
They have been busy this summer, putting together a resilient roster and making big plans for the upcoming season.
