The Boston Celtics remain the best team in the NBA as the postseason rapidly approaches and Kristaps Porzingis is a major part of their success.
According to a new quote with The Athletic, Porzingis and his team know how much potential they have and will not rest until they show all they can do.
“We believe we are on a different level, and we’re going to have to show it in the postseason,” Porzingis said.
The numbers speak for themselves.
Since Feb. 1, the Celtics are playing their best basketball.
They have played like a different team since an underwhelming loss to the Lakers to begin February, writes @ByJayKing.

With a 54-14 record, the Celtics are head-and-shoulders above the rest of the league and are solidly holding onto the top spot in the NBA.
With those numbers, the Celtics have the best shot of reaching the Finals this year.
In fact, if they aren’t able to do that, many fans will walk away disappointed and confused about what happened.
The expectations for the team have never been higher and they have to deliver or else there will be questions about the future.
For the season, Porzingis is averaging 20.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game on 51.9% from the field.
His first year with the Celtics has been a very good one and he has been a crucial part of the team’s victories.
Of course, he’s not the only one doing incredible things for the team.
Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, Derrick White, and others have made this team better than it has been in years.
They have had a terrific regular season but it’s just about time for the Celtics to perform well in the playoffs too.
Porzginis says they know they are on a different level than other teams, but they will have to keep proving it in the weeks ahead if they want this season to really be considered a success.
