Kristaps Porzingis is eager to return to the Washington Wizards and prove that he’s money well spent.
However, he still has a few more months before he will be able to make that argument.
Until tip-off in October, Porzingis will be busy perfecting his game and preparing to wow the crowds.
That’s what he’s been doing this week.

Porzingis has been playing with his Latvian National Team and has been doing great things.
While playing against Turkey the other day, Porzingis scored 22 points, 14 rebounds, 6 blocks, 3 assists, and 3 three-pointers too.
Those are great numbers for the Latvian superstar.
If he is able to take that sort of talent and output to the Wizards in the new season, he could help the team get back to greatness.
Picking Porzingis
Fans of the Wiz were a bit bummed when their team selected Porzingis during a mid-season trade last year.
They were afraid he wouldn’t do much on the floor and would get injured again and again, as has been a trend in the past.
Sadly, he did get hurt again and the team was not ready for a strong playoff run.
But no one should give up hope on Porzingis just yet.
The guy has impressed in the past and he might do that again in the future.
If his time with his national team is any indication, Porzingis still has a lot of greatness in him, he just needs a team that allows him to bring it out.
Hopefully whatever water he is drinking with his Latvian team comes back to Washington with him in a couple of months.
That could lead to serious wizardry for his Washington squad.
