There were rumors of turmoil with Jordan Poole and the Golden State Warriors last season.
Some reports said that he had a bad attitude and others claimed that his relationship with Draymond Green never fully healed.
But Warriors icon Klay Thompson is still a very big fan of Poole and is excited to see what his future with the Washington Wizards brings.
Thompson appeared on the “Podcast P” show with Paul George and said that it “hurt” to see Poole be traded from his team a few months ago.
He then talked about Poole’s work ethic and how dedicated he was.
He went on to say that they wouldn’t have won the Finals a couple of seasons ago if it wasn’t for Poole.
"Jordan is forever gonna be cherished in the Warriors lore … Washington got a good one."
Bittersweet feeling for Klay seeing Poole traded to the Wizards.

Thompson predicted that Poole would be an All-Star soon and that the points made by Poole and his new teammate Kyle Kuzma would be the “swaggiest” in the league.
“Washington got a good one,” Thompson concluded.
This seems to put to rest the speculation of Poole bringing disharmony to the team.
While it’s possible that everyone didn’t always see eye-to-eye with Poole, Thompson’s praise of him makes it seem like he was easy to get along with and truly valued by other players.
In the end, it sounds like this trade was strictly business and nothing personal.
From a business perspective, it made sense for the Warriors to trade Poole.
Although he definitely did help them win the Finals just a season before, Poole grew ice cold at the end of their playoffs run last season and many people predicted he’d be leaving.
For his part, Poole appears ready to impress Wizards fans and earn that All-Star status.
