Despite flaming out in the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the Golden State Warriors remain a threat for next year’s championship.
The Warriors’ core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are set to come back and the team found some help in the offseason when they traded Jordan Poole for Chris Paul.
Golden State will remain a title contender for as long as their three stars share the floor, though the rest of the Western Conference is looking deeper.
Fortunately, the Warriors have the benefit of continuity and chemistry, two key ingredients that are found in every championship team.
For example, aside from the stars Golden State has kept players like Kevon Looney around as they understand their roles and how to best serve the team.
Off the floor, the Warriors are also good about decompressing from the basketball grind as evidenced by a clip of Thompson and Looney taking in a unique experience during a trip to China via the Warriors Twitter account.

Thompson and Looney can be seen getting their ears cleaned using some unique methods, though it does seem like they’re receptive to the treatment.
Thompson jokes that he wants the person to take it easy while Looney admits he never thought he would get his ears cleaned at a park.
The Warriors shooting guard lets out a playful scream while he gets work done on his ear, while the big man comments that he can hear better.
Fans surely got a good laugh out of the video, though things will get serious when the regular season rolls around.
