The Golden State Warriors have been home to the Splash Brothers for years now.
That means that they are a team that is almost always reliable when it comes to three-pointers, no matter how wild, crazy, and unbelievable they are.
The two Splash Brothers are, of course, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
A few years ago, these two seemed to be nailing every single three they attempted.

This has led to Thompson becoming just the 13th player in the history of the NBA to make 2,000 three-pointers.
Trying to wrap your head around that many treys is boggling and realizing that he is just the 13th player in league history to do so reminds everyone just how special and talented Thompson can be.
Changing The Game
The three-point avalanche from Curry and Thompson during this NBA era has literally changed the way that people play basketball.
A lot more emphasis was put on threes and perimeter shots with many of the young rookies entering the league trying to build a game similar to Curry and Thompson’s.
As for Thompson, he is finding his stroke again after a long time off the court.
Following his two years out of the game, he was a bit rusty when it came to his shooting.
Right now, he is sinking 38.4% of his threes, down from his career-high of 44% in the 2017-18 season.
Thompson is definitely getting better as more time goes on and is looking more and more like his regular self, which is welcome news for fans of the Warriors who want to see them take another run at the Finals.
No matter how well he is doing now, Thompson’s spot in history is earned.
