For six seasons, quarterback Kirk Cousins was the face of the Minnesota Vikings, and during that time, he made the Pro Bowl three times, and he could’ve been selected to the Pro Bowl once again last season had it not been for the torn Achilles he suffered.
During the offseason, he decided to leave and sign with the Atlanta Falcons, a team that was picked to win the NFC South and currently sits in first place in the division.
Atlanta will visit the Vikings this Sunday, which means Cousins will return to his old stomping grounds, and he said he expects the fans at U.S. Bank Stadium to be hostile to him and his new team, per KSTPSports.

After Cousins left the Vikings, it looked like they had a big question mark at the quarterback spot.
They drafted J.J. McCarthy out of the University of Michigan with the No. 10 pick in April’s draft, but he suffered a season-ending injury prior to Week 1, forcing Sam Darnold, a man many had dismissed as a draft bust, to start under center.
To the surprise of many, Darnold has played excellent football this season, and he has guided Minnesota to a 10-2 record.
After signing Cousins, the Falcons were aggressive prior to the start of the season by trading for pass rusher Matthew Judon and signing safety Justin Simmons.
It looked like the moves were working when they got off to a 6-3 start, but they’re now on a three-game losing streak.
