The Kansas City Chiefs keep rolling.
Once again, Patrick Mahomes took his game up a notch in the playoffs, leading his team to another win.
Even though he hasn’t had a great year from a numbers standpoint, he kept making winning play after winning play when it mattered the most.
Also, his craftiness and creativity at the position has been mesmerizing at times.
That’s why even one of his colleagues has often been in awe of him.
During the broadcast of the Chiefs’ win over the Houston Texans, Kirk Cousins admitted that sometimes he finds it hard to believe that they play the same position (via NFL on ESPN).

Cousins doubled down on this, stating that sometimes, it doesn’t even feel like he’s playing the same sport.
Of course, Cousins has never been particularly mobile or agile, so it’s easy to understand where this is coming from.
Mahomes’ unorthodox mechanics, no-look passes, and ability to throw on the run are pretty unique.
More than that, he has something that not many quarterbacks have: that clutch and winning gene.
He’s the kind of player who rarely fails when it’s crunch time.
The bigger the stage, the better he plays, and he balled out even in his lone Super Bowl loss.
The Chiefs are now two wins away from winning the Vince Lombardi trophy for the third year in a row.
