The Tennessee Titans were the winners of the DeAndre Hopkins sweepstakes this offseason.
They were in a fierce battle with the New England Patriots for the services of the five-time Pro Bowler.
Hopkins had a solid game in Week 1, finishing with seven catches for 65 yards.
However, the Titans lost to the New Orleans Saints by one point.
Worst yet, they failed to score a touchdown.
More woes are coming Tennessee’s way after The 33rd Team writer Ari Meirov tweeted about Hopkins’ health status.
Hopkins is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury and did not practice.

Depending on the severity of the injury, Hopkins may play or miss Week 2.
What’s crucial is his status during the Titans’ Friday practice session.
If he participates in any capacity, there’s a chance he might play.
Otherwise, he will likely miss their home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Unfortunately, missing games has been the norm for Hopkins recently.
In 2021, he had a Grade 3 MCL tear and a hamstring injury that limited him to ten regular season games.
A knee strain forced him to miss Weeks 17 and 18 last season.
That injury does not include his six-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
His rocky tenure and massive cap hit led the Cardinals to release him this offseason.
