Most people expected Kevin Love to be moved from the Utah Jazz, but he is still a member of the team.
With the new season only weeks away, it looks like Love will suit up in a Jazz jersey in 2025-26.
In fact, he’s already got his number picked out.
According to Etienne Catalan, Love will wear No. 42 for the Jazz, which was last used by Tom Gugliotta back in 2004.
He will be wearing it when the season starts in October, but Love might not have it on for long.

When Love came to the Jazz from the Miami Heat at the start of the summer, most people expected he’d keep on moving.
They thought he’d be bought out and then find a different contract with another team, one that could actually contend for a title.
That’s apparently what Love wanted, but it looks like Utah wasn’t able to make a deal happen.
Therefore, Love will remain in Utah, at least for the foreseeable future.
Other teams could come calling when the trade deadline gets closer, and Love may end the season with a totally different squad.
The Jazz will be lucky to have him because Love provides years of experience and success.
Last season, he averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds on 35.7 percent from the field.
He’s now 37 years old and getting closer to the end of his career, but he still has a lot he can bring to the court.
He may not have expected to be in Utah, but that’s where he has landed, and Love will continue to give it his all.
