The Golden State Warriors became the team everybody loved to hate.
That happened as soon as Kevin Durant decided to join them right after they had set a record for the most wins in a regular season.
Durant and Stephen Curry were the most spectacular and dominant duo in the league during those years, reaching the NBA Finals twice and winning two championships.
And now that the years have gone by and that is all water under the bridge, it seems like they’re looking forward to teaming up again, this time with Team USA, sort of as a ‘last dance’ together, according to Joe Vardon of The Athletic (Via ClutchPoints).
Kevin Durant and Steph Curry are viewing the 2024 Olympic games in Paris as a "last dance" with USA Basketball, per @ShamsCharania and @joevardon.

Durant has played in the Olympics three times, while Curry helped Team USA win two gold medals in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
USA Basketball’s failure in this tournament led LeBron James and multiple stars to show their commitment to the upcoming Olympics, with most of them knowing that this could be their final shot to represent their national team.
Notably, Durant and Curry had reportedly discussed a potential reunion in the past, but with the Warriors.
Durant eventually joined the Phoenix Suns, all while Curry stood pat in the Bay area.
Needless to say, they’re no longer in their primes like they were the first time they played together.
But still, it’s hard to think of a team with enough defensive prowess to try and contain this two-headed monster if Durant and Curry indeed play for Team USA in the Olympics.
