The 2024 NFL regular season is heading into its final stretch, which will determine what the playoff picture looks like in the AFC and NFC.
Things are starting to get interesting, with several teams left in contention for playoff spots in both conferences, and there seems to be an intriguing situation brewing in the AFC in particular.
NBA superstar Kevin Durant is a diehard football fan who avidly roots for his hometown Washington Commanders.
He recently said he believes the Cincinnati Bengals will be the team to clinch the last playoff spot in the AFC because he has a lot of faith in quarterback Joe Burrow.
“If I had to take anybody, I’m taking the Bengals because I just trust Joe Burrow more than anybody,” Durant said on “Up & Adams.”

Although Burrow has been healthy throughout this 2024 campaign, the Bengals haven’t been able to figure things out on the field despite having one of the most potent offenses in the league.
The Bengals are 4-7 with their hopes of making the NFL playoffs dwindling, if not completely evaporated, especially after losing their last two games to the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, two teams ahead of them in the wild-card race.
Cincinnati would have to play flawless football from here on out while also having results around the league go in its favor in order to be postseason-bound.
