The NBA season is still a couple of months away, but the grind of being an NBA player never stops.
That’s why it’s usual to see some of the biggest names in the game teaming up as they get ready for the upcoming campaign, working on their craft and deepening their bags of moves and tricks.
This year won’t be the exception to that rule, and it seems like one of the biggest stars in the league is already embracing a mentorship role with the younger players.
As reported by Gochhoops (via ClutchPoints), Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant is currently leading a group of young stars alongside Austin Rivers, being spotted in Los Angeles with the likes of Jalen Green, Trae Young, and Chet Holmgren.

Notably, Holmgren could actually pick up a thing or two of Durant’s game, as he’s also a lanky three-level scorer who knows how to make the most of his length to get his shot up and disrupt shots on the defensive end of the floor.
Jalen Green has struggled with efficiency and shot-selection since he entered the league, so he could definitely learn a thing or two as well.
As for Trae Young, their relationship goes way back in time, as he used to attend Oklahoma City Thunder games when he was there, and the influence in his offense game is obvious from time to time.
Props to Durant and Rivers for making sure to spread their knowledge to the next generation; the league needs more of that.
