Now that the Kyrie Irving unpleasantness is behind them, the Brooklyn Nets have a lot to focus on.
Most importantly, they need to find a way to stay toward the top of the Eastern Conference, avoid injuries, and prep themselves for what should be a good postseason.
They also need to see what they can do before this week’s trade deadline and improve the roster however possible.
Kevin Durant has been "less than enthralled" with Ben Simmons, per @Krisplashed.

If the latest rumors are to be believed, Ben Simmons might be on the chopping block in the days ahead.
Apparently, Kevin Durant is “less than enthralled” with the work of Simmons, who is playing his first season in Brooklyn.
When you look at Simmons’ numbers, you can’t blame Durant.
So far this season, the former All-Star is averaging 7.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
Some of those numbers – like the steals – are impressive.
But none of them are at the level they should be, nor the level that Brooklyn expected.
When Simmons joined the team last season, he was seen as the missing piece that would complete Brooklyn’s big three, giving them expert defense and wonderful ball-handling and assists.
He has shown flashes of that at times but his inconsistency has harmed the team and his future with it.
From what seems like a fear of taking shots to sloppy defense and way too many personal fouls, Simmons has given the Nets plenty of headaches.
Now people are wondering if he has much longer in Brooklyn or if the front office will pick up the phone and ship him out before Thursday.
Durant has more pressure on his shoulders without Irving and he needs someone he can rely on.
If he really is getting frustrated with Simmons then you can expect a big change soon.
