The San Antonio Spurs have the most exciting prospect in the game right now.
Even if they don’t play appealing or good basketball, they’ve become must-watch television because of Victor Wembanyama.
It seems like he’s always about to make a spectacular play, and it just never ceases to amaze the fans.
That was again on full display during his team’s home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
In the span of ten seconds, the reigning No. 1 pick swatted a shot with great force, led the break, and then finished the play on the other end with an electrifying alley-oop from the free-throw line.
That’s why former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter to react to this insane sequence, simply calling the Frenchman ‘him.’
Him!!!! https://t.co/LOuLOKngCB

Him, indeed.
Wembanyama can do it all on both ends of the floor, and he’s been as spectacular as advertised.
There’s even an ongoing debate about whether he should be in line to win not only the Rookie of the Year but also Defensive Player of the Year.
His team’s defense has been atrocious this season, he’s already established himself as one of the prime stoppers in the game, not to mention the fact that he’s leading the league in blocks by a significant margin.
A guy that big shouldn’t be able to do the things he does, especially on offense, and it’s going to be exciting to watch his journey.
