The Los Angeles Lakers seem destined for the play-in tournament.
Once LeBron James went out with his foot injury, all hope seemed lost for their season.
But, a recent emergence of some of their role players has the Lakers tied for ninth in the Western Conference.
The West this year is unlike anything we have seen in the past.
There are currently three games separating the fourth seed from the 12th.
It might just come down to which team gets hot at the right time as to who wins the conference.
One team that Kendrick Perkins thinks you should look out for is the Lakers.
He said on “Get Up” how a healthy James and Anthony Davis could win the West.
"[The Lakers] can make it to the NBA Finals if LeBron and AD are healthy."

The Lakers have the top-end talent to compete in the West, but their depth is a concern.
They made a few nice moves at the trade deadline to acquire solid role players.
D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley have all made big impacts for the Lakers.
Also, the emergence of Austin Reaves has been something that no one saw coming.
If the role players can continue to have success once James comes back into the fold the Lakers could be dangerous.
But, it still seems like a stretch that this team can go from the play-in to the NBA Finals.
They would have to beat too many good teams, and staying healthy has not been something the Lakers are good at.
