The Detroit Pistons are officially the most infamous team in NBA history.
They’re currently riding a league-worst 27-game losing streak, and they’ve only managed to win two out of 30 games they’ve played this season.
To make things even worse, their next opponent is the league-leading Boston Celtics, so the chances of that streak coming to an end are pretty slim.
With that in mind, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins said on ESPN’s “First Take” that he had a better chance of having breakfast with Beyonce and Oprah than the Pistons do of beating the Celtics.

The Celtics have been the strongest juggernaut in the league, which is far from a surprise if you take a look at their starting five and their roster.
The Pistons, on the other hand, have become fascinating to watch.
Their roster isn’t that bad, they don’t play that poorly, and they do put up some effort, so what’s going on there?
Perhaps Monty Williams has already lost the locker room and they need a change of direction; perhaps the players don’t get along; perhaps they just don’t believe in themselves anymore.
Whatever the case, it’s hard and sad to see a team hitting rock bottom when they’re not trying to lose on purpose like other teams before the, did.
And the worst part about this is that losing habits are hard to shake off, and they have so many young and talented players, so let’s hope they’ll be able to turn things around at some point and show signs of life soon.
